19 May 2012 - Schwenksville Community Day
Visit us on Facebook to see photo's of our participation in Schwenksville Community Day 2012! Thanks to everyone who helped us pull together our fundraiser and supported us by purchasing lollipops and water!
14 February 2012 - Valentine's Day Mission of LOVE
Thanks to the work and support of volunteers, we painted the town red the week of Valentine's Day! We delivered more than 100 cupcakes and treats bags to Bethany Children's Home, Morning Star Pregnancy home and the Good Samaritan Shelter. One resident at the shelter told us that she had never received a Valentine in her life... Thanks to our volunteers, she received her first one on February 14, 2012.
What made this project even more special were the delivery boxes designed by young supporters of The Nottage Project, including kids and staff at The Goddard School in Schwenksville. A huge THANKS to The Goddard School for their strong support and for including this project in their Community Games Open House. Additionally, the hard work of Judith Herald, Katie Kupetz and Sharon Ahern truly helped pull all of this together! Visit Facebook to see great pictures from this event!

Clothing Drive Partnership
The Nottage Project partnered with Mandy Keep Photography in January for Mandy's Sweet Heart event - a photography project of LOVE to support the Williams Syndrome Association and other charities selected by participants of the event. People braved snow and bad roads to participate - many lugged clothing donations along with them. This was a great event for us as we met wonderful people who are now supporters. During the event we met two women who have since been phenomenal supported of our work. We met Theresa who purchased brand new clothes to help us outfit a young lady transitioning back into the workforce. We also met Jennifer, who donated close to 200 pounds of adult and children's clothing to our "giving closet". As you can see, your support is critical to helping us reach out to those who need our help.
Holiday Giving Campaign
THanks to everyone who supported our project for the Good Samaritan SHelter, we were able to collect even MORE than we expected. From hats and gloves, to blankets and socks - we delivered holiday CHEER on Wednesday, December 21. Take a look at the pictures to see the delivery. THANK YOU!
>>Update: We want to extend another thanks to everyone who donated gloves, hats, blankets and other items to support the residents of the Good Samaritan Shelter over the holidays. Residents at both shelters have personally told me how much your donations helped them and how it made them feel to receive gifts during the holiday season. During a recent visit with the women and children at the Ephrata site, a resident told me that because of YOUR gifts, this past holiday was the best she has had since she was FOUR years old. What a difference your generosity makes in the life of others. THANK YOU!
